Wildwood is owned and operated by a non-profit conservation foundation, and we accept volunteer help and donations throughout the year.

Volunteer Work Weekends

In exchange for your labor, we provide our volunteers with great food, pleasant accommodations, good company, hot tub, pool and splendid natural setting for a day or two at a time. Electricians, plumbers, and carpenters are especially needed, but many other skill sets are helpful in trying to maintain our facilities and conserve the land and forests. Volunteering to Support our Mission

The Wildwood Conservation Foundation’s role is “to conserve the beauty and tranquility of Wildwood, and to use the land to nourish the physical and emotional human spirit.” Volunteer members of our community have been critical in the creation and development of Wildwood to carry out this mission.

The board of directors plays a very active role in stewarding, maintaining and developing Wildwood. Volunteers work with the board by serving on committees and/or taking on specific projects in fund raising, program development, land management, facilities development, IT infrastructure, etc. Volunteers make a significant contribution to the community’s personal and spiritual development through their volunteer work at Wildwood.
