.So many of our guests tell us, “There’s something so magical about the land at Wildwood!” And it’s true -- there is something powerful in the natural grandeur of our unspoiled wilderness that affects everyone who spends time here. It’s this magic that brings so many of our guests back to Wildwood again and again, to work, celebrate, retreat and relax.

Wildwood is a majestic, inspiring place, full of natural contrasts and variety. Spectacular vistas seen from intimate secluded hideaways … The sun on your face in an open meadow, the cool shade under the redwood canopy … Landscaped gardens filled with lush vegetation, hiking trails through unspoiled nature to waterfalls and streams… Morning fog misting into the valley below, full moons rising up out of the redwoods to light your way at night.

.

.

Situated at 1200 feet above sea level and just 8 miles from the Pacific Ocean, Wildwood’s climate is temperate and comfortable all year round. More than 200 acres of unspoiled forests, meadows and streams are home to deer, raccoons, hawks, and other birds and wild creatures living undisturbed in their natural habitat. Redwood groves, fir trees and giant oaks grace a magnificent landscape of rolling hills, sunny meadows and striking vistas.

.

Because Wildwood is committed to conserving the land in its rural, natural state, we created an easement guaranteeing that the land will be preserved without development in perpetuity.

The breath-taking beauty and simple grandeur of Wildwood’s land creates a unique and memorable setting for group retreats -- the perfect environment for seclusion, introspection, community, and connection.
