Work Weekend at Wildwood

Various catch up projects and improvements were implemented early in November by Wildwood and Center for Sacred Studies members. It was an opportunity to come together for community and contribution. Thank you!

Wildwood can use volunteers from time to time who have specific skills in carpentry, electricity and plumbing. Introducing Rick Borutta, Wildwood Staff/Volunteer

Rick Borutta comes to Wildwood from New York City where he has lived for more than 20 years. His experience as a Broadway stage manager and producer for CBSNews.com gives him a variety of skills to put to use in support of the Wildwood Conservation Foundation and Retreat Center. His passion for men's work, sacred space, and authentic queer identity make him an ideal resource for Wildwood.

Rick will continue to publish the monthly email newsletters and be involved with all written and media communications including the website and fundraising efforts. In addition, he will provide an organizational structure to Wildwood's volunteer program so that we can continue to offer valuable experience to worthy candidates who wish to support Wildwood with their time and talent.

Part of Rick's focus at Wildwood will be toward donor relationships and communications. If you want to become a member, a Friend of Wildwood ($1,000 annual donation,) or have questions about how to donate stock or designate Wildwood as an estate beneficiary, please contact Rick.

One thing we are in desparate need for is donor/donation software. Our organization is too large to receive it at a discounted price through the not-for-profit resource TechSoup. So if you can help Rick with another resource - or with a $600 donation to purchase GiftWorks, we would be very grateful!

Feel free to drop Rick a line at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Rick will also maintain office hours Monday - Wednesday from 10 AM - 3 PM/PT

Rick is also an astrologer! Some members have already taken advantage of Rick's talents - and he donates 25% of his fee to Wildwood.
